Fame and Karma

Fame and Karma

1. Fame

In the game, you build up Fame according to your Level and activities.

With high Fame, you appear on the Personal Ranking below the minimap.

Players in the top 20 of the Personal Ranking receive [Glory Badge] every day according to their rank.

Fame and Karma - 1. Fame

Basically, Fame is determined by your Level and the number of floors you have reached in the Tower of Honor.

● Fame formula: Level + (floors reached in the Tower of Honor * 100)

└ Example: At Level 39 with floor 7 of the Tower of Honor reached, your Fame Points are 739

Fame can also be earned through PvP.

During [Blood Storm], held daily from 9~11 PM, killing an opponent in a PK channel lets you take their Fame.

The higher your opponent's Fame, the more Fame you can take, and your opponent loses as much Fame as you take.

You can take up to +500 Fame, and can lose only up to -100 Fame.

Your own PvP Fame is shown as ± next to the Fame Points above your character's head.

Other players' Fame Points are shown with PvP Fame already included.

Your final Fame is the sum of your base Fame and PvP Fame.

Every day at midnight, PvP Fame Points are adjusted to within ±50

Fame and Karma - 1. Fame

2. Karma

Killing other characters through PK builds up Karma.

Killing another character in a PK channel with PK Mode on increases Karma by 2 each time.

However, in the following cases PK does not build up Karma.

● Killing other players during Blood Storm

● Killing other players in PvP-enabled content such as the Tower of Honor

● Killing an opponent who has PK Mode on

● Killing a wanted player

If your Karma Points exceed 100, you receive various penalties.

Karma Points Below 100 100 ~ 499 500 ~ 999 1,000 or more
Item destruction chance None 3% 5% 10%
Additional EXP penalty on death None 1% 2% 3%
Force-quitting while in PK Mode
EXP penalty
1% 2% 3% 5%

Once PK Mode has been off for 3 hours, Karma then drops by 1 every 3 hours.

Paying bail to a town Soldier lowers Karma by 1 per 100,000 Silver Coins.

Alternatively, you can reduce Karma with a Karma-reducing potion sold in the Item Mall.
