Upgrade Level

 

 

1. What Is Upgrade Level?

 

 

Upgrade Level is a feature that boosts the base stats of equipment.

Upgraded equipment shows its current upgrade level in the top-left corner of its icon.

 

Upgrading uses [Ancient Stone] and [Silver Coin], and equipment can be upgraded up to +30

 

The Upgrade Level success rate depends on how many [Ancient Stone] you add.

The higher the equipment's grade and upgrade level, the more resources the upgrade requires.

 

 

 

Up to +10, a failed upgrade only costs you the materials.

However, from +11 onward, a failure has a 50% chance of lowering the level

To prevent level loss, raise the success rate to 100% or use a [Protection Stone].

 

 

 

2. Types of Ancient Stone

 

 

[Ancient Stone], the upgrade material, comes in 4 tiers: [Ancient Stone Fragment], [Ancient Stone], [Ancient Stone High], [Ancient Stone Highest]

Using higher-grade Ancient Stones gives a higher upgrade success rate.

 

[Ancient Stone] is obtained by disassembling certain items (e.g. Costume bags)

Ancient Stones of [Ancient Stone] grade and above (except [Ancient Stone Fragment]) can also be obtained by trading with other players.

 

Besides the regular blue [Ancient Stone], there is also [Scarlet Stone].

 

[Scarlet Stone] is easy to get by disassembling Heroic-grade or higher equipment or from various content

[Scarlet Stone] gives the same upgrade success rate as [Ancient Stone].

 

However, items upgraded with [Scarlet Stone] become <Locked> and cannot be traded

You can remove <Locked> with an [Unlock Scroll] from the Item Mall (90-day cooldown).

 

 

 

To use [Scarlet Stone] when upgrading, tick "Use Scarlet Stone" at the bottom of the Upgrade Level window.

 

 

 

3. How to Upgrade

 

 

① Use [Equipment Upgrade Level] under [Special Skill]-[Life] to open the Upgrade Level window, then drag the equipment into the slot.

Alternatively, right-click the equipment you want to upgrade and select [Upgrade Level] from the menu that appears.

 

② Tick whether or not to use [Scarlet Stone].

The equipment will become <Locked>, so if you want to trade it later, turn this option off.

 

③ Add the 4 types of Ancient Stone on the right side of the Upgrade Level window.

The more Ancient Stone High you put in, the higher the upgrade success rate.

 

④ When upgrading equipment at +11 or higher, if the success rate is below 100%, you can choose whether to use a [Protection Stone].

 

⑤ Press the Upgrade Level button and see whether it succeeds or fails.
