1. What Is a Pet?
A pet is a summoned companion that follows your character and grants bonus stats.
The pets [Balla], [Rey] can be obtained from Quests, and other pets can be bought in the Item Mall.
You can summon up to 3 pets at the same time.
Pets have 6 kinds of special abilities, but for duplicate effects only the highest value applies.
2. Pet Growth
While a pet stays summoned, its Intimacy increases every 1 minute.
However, if you change maps, log out or dismiss the pet before the minute is up, the timer resets.
Also, pet Intimacy increases more than usual during combat.
When Intimacy reaches 100%, the pet can evolve to the next stage.
Buy an [Evolution Potion] from the Pet Tamer NPC in town and feed it to your pet to raise its stage (up to stage 3).
An evolved pet's special ability effects are stronger than at its previous stage.
If you die while a pet is summoned, its Intimacy drops by 5% each time (3% if killed by PK).
When Intimacy drops to 0%, the pet dies and cannot be summoned.
To revive a dead pet, use a [Revive Potion] sold by the Pet Tamer NPC.
A [Pet Ressurection Scroll], sold in the Item Mall, restores more Intimacy.
3. Pet Fusion (Star Grade Evolution)
Through fusion, pets can gain stars (星) and make their special abilities even stronger.
Fusion requires the following
● The pet to be fused must be evolved to stage 3 with 100% Intimacy
● A material pet with the same stars/stage as the pet to be fused and 100% Intimacy (it does not have to be the same kind of pet)
● A [Pet Fusion Scroll], sold in the Item Mall
Use a [Pet Fusion Scroll] and register the target pet and the material pet to fuse them.
Pet Fusion has a set success rate, which can be raised with a [Pet Fusion Potion].
4. Pet Equipment and Pet Inventory
While a pet is summoned, you can open the Pet Inventory window.
In the Pet Inventory window, you can equip items that increase Intimacy gain or grant bonus stats.
Up to 9 pieces can be worn, plus 60 extra storage slots.
The Pet Inventory can only store regular items from your Personal Inventory; Item Mall items cannot be stored.
5. Pet Cradle
Even without summoning a pet, you can raise its Intimacy with the Pet Cradle.
After learning [Pet Cradle] under [Special Skill]-[Life], you can use 1 cradle slot.
Register an unsummoned pet here and it automatically accumulates Intimacy according to the Pet Cradle Level.
A [Pet Nurture Expansion Scroll] expands the Pet Cradle to up to 3 slots.
The Pet Cradle special skill costs a lot of Skill Points, and the Intimacy it gives is less efficient than keeping a pet summoned.
However, its advantage is that it raises the Intimacy of several pets very safely.
The Skill Points required and the Intimacy gained at each Level of the Pet Cradle special skill are as follows.
