1. What Are Black Monsters?
Black Monsters are monsters that appear in the game's endgame areas.
These monsters appear in Cursed Mountain Sung, Cursed Mt.Tai-South, etc.
Black Monsters constantly give off a black aura, so they are easy to spot.
These monsters are as strong as their Level suggests, with extra Accuracy and Critical Resist.
They also have special abilities called Black AP and Black Barrier that weaken the players fighting them.
2. Black AP
Black AP is an ability that Black Monsters have.
When fighting monsters with Black AP, the player's Defense, Elemental Resistance and Dodge are reduced.
Black AP can be offset with Black AP Resistance; the defense reduction caused by Black AP is calculated as follows.
● Black AP effect rate = Monster's Black AP * Monster's Black AP / ( Monster's Black AP + Player's Black AP Resistance )
- Example: a Black Monster has 80 Black AP and the player has 0 Black AP Resistance
└ 80 * 80 / ( 80 + 0 ) = 80 ▷ Player's Defense/Resistance/Dodge reduced by 80%
- Example: a Black Monster has 80 Black AP and the player has 50 Black AP Resistance
└ 80 * 80 / ( 80 + 50 ) = 49.2 ▷ Player's Defense/Resistance/Dodge reduced by 49.2%
3. Black Barrier
Black Barrier is another stat that Black Monsters have.
When fighting monsters with Black Barrier, the player's Final Damage and Critical chance are reduced.
Black Barrier can be offset with Tearing; the attack reduction caused by Black Barrier is calculated as follows.
● Black Barrier effect rate = Monster's Black Barrier * Monster's Black Barrier / ( Monster's Black Barrier + Player's Tearing )
- Example: a Black Monster has 80 Black Barrier and the player has 0 Tearing
└ 80 * 80 / ( 80 + 0 ) = 80 ▷ Player's Critical and Final Damage reduced by 80%
- Example: a Black Monster has 80 Black Barrier and the player has 50 Tearing
└ 80 * 80 / ( 80 + 50 ) = 49.2 ▷ Player's Critical and Final Damage reduced by 49.2%
4. How Much Black AP/Black Barrier Do Monsters Have?
Black Monsters of Level 100 and below have Black AP/Black Barrier of 70
Up to Level 120, it equals 70 + ( Monster Level - 100 ) / 2 (increasing by 0.5 per Level from Level 100)
From Level 120 up, it is fixed at 80. Also, Bosses and anything Bosses summon are fixed at 80 regardless of Level
