Raid Boss - 1. What Is a World Boss?

World Bosses are Bosses with stronger abilities than Field Bosses.

Defeating a World Boss takes many players with high Stats.

There are 4 World Bosses: Tomb Protector, The Great Minotaur, Red Dragon and Bulgasal. The later the Boss, the stronger its Stats.

These Bosses are so strong that soloing them is hard, so they are usually challenged by large groups at the Guild level.

2. Entry Quests

To enter a boss room where a World Boss appears, you must first complete that room's Quest.

The entry Quest is also required to receive rewards after defeating the Boss.

After you fight the Boss and claim your rewards, the entry Quest becomes a repeatable Quest once you leave the boss room.

Boss Name Min. Level Starting Area Starting NPC Quest Name
Tomb Protector 50 Mausoleum Protector Spirit Entrustment of the Protector
The Great Minotaur 70 Kai Feng Soldier Kai Feng Guard Wish for Joint Burial
Red Dragon 85 Beijing Black Smith Younger Brother A Dangerous Presence
Bulgasal 95 Beijing Soldier Beijing Guard Beast of the Bulga Abyss

* The Tomb Protector Quest can only be done up to Level 69. If your Level is outside the required range, you cannot enter the boss room.

3. Fighting the Boss

Besides being tough in their own right, World Bosses must be fought over several phases, and they also summon minion monsters.

Mid-bosses and summoned creatures are also very strong, and they keep spawning while you fight the Boss, making them a serious threat.

Once the mid-bosses and summoned creatures are dealt with, the real fight against the Boss begins.

Because the Boss has high Stats and regenerates on its own, even a large group has to fight a fairly long battle.

After the Boss appears, if combat is not kept up for more than 10 minutes, the attempt counts as a failure and the Boss disappears.

(except the Tomb Protector)

4. Getting the Loot

When the Boss falls, you receive Chest Keys based on your contribution.

Use these keys to open the 50 Treasure Chests summoned in the boss room.

The number of keys you receive by contribution is as follows.

● Total damage 0.5%: 1 key

● Total damage 3%: 2 keys

● Total damage 15%: 3 keys

● Total damage 30%: 4 keys

If someone else opens a chest first, the chest at that spot disappears.

5. Other

In the boss room, you can turn on PK Mode and PK other players.

Unlike PK channels, being PK'd here does not give you the Weakness Debuff, but your EXP and your Pet's Intimacy will drop.
