Early-Game Knowledge That Makes Playing Easier

 

 

1. Playing with Others

 

 

A Guild is the same concept as a guild in other MMORPGs.

Joining a Guild lets you make friends with other players and enjoy Guild content.

 

To found a Guild, the character who will become Guild Master must meet the following requirements:

 

● Level 40 or higher

● Learn the [Leadership] passive under [Special Skill]-[Life]

● If you were in another Guild, at least 1 day must have passed since you left it

● If you previously led a Guild, at least 3 days must have passed since it was disbanded

 

Once you meet all the requirements, you can found a Guild through the Admin NPC in town.

If founding a Guild is too hard, or you'd rather join another Guild, go out and find one!

Try greeting the people gathered in town, or post that you're looking for a Guild in server-wide chat with a [Speaker (15 Days)].

 

New encounters may make the Jianghu even more fun!

 

 

2. Use Consumables Wisely!

 

 

Mohun has a wide variety of Consumables.

They may just be single-use items that disappear once used, but used wisely they can help a lot in combat.

Let's think carefully about how to use Consumables and use them more effectively.

 

1) Use Several Kinds of Talismans at Once

 

Buff items such as the [EXP Talisman] are divided into grades, such as Ⅰ~Ⅴ.

Items of different grades can all be used at the same time, and their values stack additively.

Example) Using EXP TalismanⅠ(+30%) and EXP TalismanⅢ(+50%) together gives +80% EXP.

 

[Rice Cake], [Zongzi] and [Decorative Accessory] items with an EXP +100% option can all be used at the same time as well.

 

If your hunting spot gives good EXP, try using several kinds of EXP Talismans to maximize efficiency.

 

 

2) Don't Use Buff Items Carelessly

 

Use items that raise combat stats, such as STR or External Attack boosts, when your Attack falls just short and monsters survive by a hair.

Killing a monster in fewer hits affects your actual hunting speed more than simply raising your Attack.

 

Whether you take off 50% or 90% of a monster's HP, if it still takes two hits either way, the efficiency is exactly the same!
 

 

3) Use a [Qinggong Talisman] Whenever Possible

 

Qinggong only activates after you have walked a certain number of steps.

If you stop attacking and walk over to the next monster, you lose a lot of hunting speed.

 

Using a Qinggong Talisman removes the Qinggong wind-up time, so you can quickly reach the next monster.

 

To speed up hunting, the Qinggong Talisman is a basic item you should use.

They can be bought with Silver Yuanbao, so they are no burden to buy.

 

Add a Soaring Body Talisman (Qinggong Speed +100) on top of that and it gets even better, right?
 

 

3. Useful Shortcut Keys

 

 

① Minimap [M]

Shows your current channel, area and position.

 

② World Map [W]

View a large map with more detailed information than the minimap.

Click a map name on the left to view other maps.

Click a monster's name in the upper-right corner to show where that monster lives.

Click an NPC's name in the lower-right corner to walk to that NPC automatically.

 

③ Auto Hunt [H]

A function that sets your character to hunt monsters according to criteria you define.

Protection Settings and other settings work even when you are not in combat, and they only take effect after you press [Apply] once you have finished setting them.

 

④ Character Info [C]

A function for viewing your character's stats.

Shows your character's basic info, advancement status, EXP and main stats.

In this menu you can spend the points gained from Level Ups to raise STR/AGI/VIT/INT.

Detailed combat stats can also be viewed in Character Info.

 

⑤ Personal Inventory [I]

Also known as the Inventory; it shows your character's equipment and items.

Check, use and equip the currencies, items, equipment and appearances your character owns.

Only while the Personal Inventory window is open, press the shortcut keys below to open additional inventories.

Press [M] to open the Item Mall inventory.

Press [L] to open the Appearance Storage.

Press [O] to open the Dragon Orb equip window.

 

⑥ Martial Arts/Special Skills [S]

A window for viewing the Martial Arts and Special Skills your character has.

Martial Arts and Special Skills you have learned can be registered on the shortcut bar for use.

Special Skills are divided into 4 types, Combat/Qinggong/Motion/Life, and are learned and trained by spending Skill Points.

 

⑦ Quest [Q]

A function that records the Quests you can do in the game and information on various events.

 

⑧ My Guild [G]

View information about your Guild and use the functions you have permission for.

 

⑨ Friends/Block [F]

Add friends you play with, or block people you don't want to hear from.

 

⑩ Mail [N]

Send short messages to other players.

Unlike whispers, you can send messages even when the other player is offline.

 

⑪ Settings [O]

Adjust the game environment, graphics and sound.

 

⑫ Exit Game [ESC]

Exit the game, or return to the lobby to choose a character.

 

⑬ Hide Chat Window [Ctrl + Shift + C]

Hide the chat window to conceal important information or take cleaner screenshots.

 

⑭ Hide Names [Ctrl + Shift + N]

Hide the names above characters' heads to conceal important information or take cleaner screenshots.

 

⑮ Hide Mohun in the System Tray [Alt + Q]

Hides the Mohun game in the system tray. Very handy when your manager suddenly walks up to your desk at work.
