Item Valuation

 

When you first start playing, it is very hard to tell which items are valuable. Higher-grade items are generally worth more, but lower-grade items are sometimes important too because they have many uses.

 

Tradable items in particular are usually worth far more when sold to other players than to shops. Knowing the following will help you avoid losses from unknowingly selling good items to shops or throwing them away.

 

 

 

1. Understanding Item Grades

 

Grade	Description
Normal	Untradable items, mostly of low value.
Rare	Untradable items, mostly of low value. Many material items are in this grade.
Heroic	Most cannot be traded, but the tradable ones are usually very valuable. Some items give Gold Coins when sold to a shop, or material items such as Scarlet Stones when disassembled.
Legendary	Mostly tradable and very valuable items. Most give Gold Coins when sold to a shop.
Mythic	The highest grade of equipment and items, excluding Immortal Sells to shops for a large amount of Gold Coins.
Unique	The highest grade; mostly end-game equipment or the key materials for crafting it.

 

Items in Mohun are divided into 6 grades: Normal-Rare-Heroic-Legendary-Mythical-Immortal. High-value items are usually Heroic grade or above, but items of Rare grade and below are often used as materials to fuse important higher-grade items.

 

Also, even at the same grade, tradable items may be in demand among other players and sell for a high price. If an item doesn't have the [Untradable] property, check first whether selling it to players pays better than selling it to a shop.

 

 

 

2. Handle Your Hunting Loot Like This

 

Defeating monsters of a suitable Level gives you a chance to obtain items. See the table below for the main items from each hunting ground and how to handle them.

 

Type	Importance	Description
Equipment Box	Medium	Normal and Rare grades are used to enhance Equipment Intimacy. Heroic grade is best disassembled into Scarlet Stones, an Upgrade Level material. Legendary grade and above are best sold through trading, or disassembled into Scarlet Stones. Crafting some high-level Martial Art materials requires Equipment Boxes of Heroic grade or higher.
Ancient Stone, Scarlet Stone	High	Stock up on ore to enhance your equipment Tradable ore can be sold for Gold Coins.
Brave Key	High	Use them to enter Dungeons you can clear, and don't exceed the maximum you can hold.
Guild Loyal Stone	Medium	Spend them at the Guild House's exclusive shop, or donate them to upgrade the Guild House.
Gem	Low	Sell to the shop, except for the Gems you mainly use Stock up on materials to upgrade into Pure Gems for your own use or for trading.
Rare materials (Dragon Stone, Phoenix Feather, etc.)	High	Used to craft appearance gear such as Orbs, Wings and Weapon Costumes Tradable materials can be sold for Gold Coins. (Player-to-player trade is recommended over selling to a shop.)
Tea Leaf and Salt	Medium	Use them to upgrade the potions you have, or sell them to a shop Keep around 300~500 in reserve for crafting certain items.
High-Grade Ore	Medium	Once you have collected enough, use them to upgrade Gems into Pure Gems.
Potion	Low	Use them via the auto-potion settings, or sell them to a shop.

 

 

 

3. Unsure About an Item? Fuse or Disassemble It!

 

From Level 3 you can learn Item Fuse, and from Level 5 you can learn Disassemble, both through Special Skills. Fusing to create materials or higher-grade items is a very important part of play, and useless items can be disassembled into a variety of materials.

 

1) Items You Should Disassemble

 

● Heroic-grade and higher equipment and Equipment Boxes
- Disassembling Heroic-grade equipment and Equipment Boxes gives Scarlet Stones, the material for Upgrade Level, and the higher the upgrade stage of what you disassemble, the more Scarlet Stones you get. However, Legendary-grade and higher equipment and Equipment Boxes can be sold to shops for Gold Coins or sold to other players, so choose whichever option pays off more.

 

 

● High-grade ore
- Ancient Stones and Scarlet Stones can be disassembled into 10 pieces of the next lower tier. Enhancing equipment with a success rate over 100% is wasteful, so disassemble just enough and use lower-tier ore to save materials. However, fusing disassembled ore back into a higher tier costs extra Gold Coins, so be careful. Also, fusing Ancient Stone Fragments (blue) only produces Scarlet Stones.

 

 

2) Items You Should Fuse

 

● Gems
- Gems can be fused with High-Grade Ore (dropped) and Diamond Powder (sold by the Accessory Shop) to turn them into Pure Gems. Gem Enhance with Pure Gems has a chance to give higher Stats, and unlike regular Gems, which sell only for Silver Coins, Pure Gems sell for Gold Coins. Pure Gems can also be traded with other players.

 

● Rare materials
- Dragon Stone Sculpture, Basaltic Shell, Adamant, Thunder Rock and other materials dropped in high-level hunting grounds can be combined 20 at a time to create higher-grade materials. High-grade materials sell to shops for a lot of Gold Coins and are used to create and enhance late-game gear that boosts your specs, such as Dragon Orbs and Immortal Equipment.

 

● Evo Gems
- Low-tier Evo Gems cannot be traded and have few uses, but from +5 upward they can be traded between players, and once upgraded to Evo Gem High they are used to create and upgrade many kinds of high-grade equipment, so they sell to other players for a high price.
