Earning Silver Coins/Gold Coins

 

Currency, used to buy all sorts of items and as the medium of trade, is a very important part of the game, and easy ways to earn it can be a shortcut to boosting your character's specs.

 

Mohun has 2 currencies: Silver Coins, used mainly at NPC Shops, and Gold Coins, which can be traded. The two currencies differ in use and source, and can be accumulated as follows.

 

 

 

1. How Should You Earn Silver Coins?

 

1) Hunting and Selling Junk Items
 

Silver Coins come from hunting or from selling monster drops to shops. The recovery items you use while hunting are also bought with Silver Coins, so if you want to earn Silver Coins more efficiently, choose hunting grounds where you use fewer items.

 

In a shop, hovering the mouse over an item shows its sell price at the bottom of the tooltip. Selling items that are pricey for their grade makes it easier to earn Silver Coins, but Equipment and Equipment Boxes are worth more when used for Equipment Intimacy Enhance than when sold to a shop.

 

 

 

2) Complete Collections

Some Collections you can complete early on give a Silver Coin Box as an extra reward on top of stats. Complete these Collections and claim the reward to get a Silver Coin Box, which contains a large amount of Silver Coins.

 

The Silver Coin Box reward can be claimed only once per Collection entry, so be careful not to waste the Silver Coins you get early on.

 

 

 

3) Events

In-game event rewards sometimes include Silver Coins. Events give far more Silver Coins than hunting, so we recommend joining events as much as you can.

 

 

4) Exchange for Gold Coins

Gold Coins, the higher-tier currency, can be exchanged for Silver Coins with the Exchange button at the bottom of the Inventory, at a rate of 1 Gold Coin to 1,000 Silver Coins.

 

However, Gold Coins are generally worth far more than Silver Coins because they can be traded. Unless you urgently need Silver Coins, exchanging Gold Coins for Silver Coins is not recommended.

 

 

5) Get Silver Coins from Item Mall Goods
 

Some Item Mall goods, such as the Starter Package or Booster Package, include Silver Coins. In addition, some Package items may randomly give items such as a Silver Coin Pouch.

 

Unlike the Silver Coin Box, the Silver Coin Pouch can be traded between players. Getting Silver Coin Pouches for Gold Coins or inexpensive items gives you Silver Coins more cost-effectively than exchanging Gold Coins.

 

 

 

2. How Should You Earn Gold Coins?

 

1) Sell Rare Gems
 

While hunting you have a small chance to get Garnet and Malachite. Unlike other Gems, these two sell for Gold Coins instead of Silver Coins.

 

The amounts are fairly small — 10 Gold Coins for a Garnet and 50 Gold Coins for a Malachite — but that shows just how valuable Gold Coins are. Hunt steadily with an "every little bit counts" mindset and you'll soon have a stash of Gold Coins.

 

 

 

2) Sell Equipment Boxes

Equipment Boxes obtained from hunting that are Legendary grade or higher give Gold Coins when sold to a shop.

 

● Weapon: Legendary 300, Mythical 1500
● Armor: Legendary 150, Mythical 750
● Accessory: Legendary 240, Mythical 1200

 

The same goes for equipment that doesn't come in a box. In Dungeons, the Boss always drops Heroic-grade or better equipment. Legendary-grade or better gear can be sold to a shop for Gold Coins, but such items fetch a higher price from other players, so we recommend trading them even if it's a bit of a hassle.

 

 

3) Fuse Materials

Some low-grade materials sell for Silver Coins, but their high-grade versions sell for Gold Coins. The main fused items that sell for Gold Coins and their shop prices are as follows.

 

● Pure Gem (10 Gold Coins): Normal Gem + 5 High-Grade Ore + 5 Diamond Powder + 24,000 Silver Coins
● Dragon Stone (1,000 Gold Coins): 20 Dragon Stone Sculptures + 1,000,000 Silver Coins
● Dragon Scale (500 Gold Coins): 20 Basaltic Shells + 1,000,000 Silver Coins
● Pure Adamant (750 Gold Coins): 20 Adamant + 1,000,000 Silver Coins
● Pure Thunder Rock (600 Gold Coins): 20 Thunder Rocks + 1,000,000 Silver Coins

 

High-grade materials made by fusing cost quite a lot of Silver Coins, but Gold Coins are worth relatively more than Silver Coins, so this can be a quick way to earn Gold Coins. Of course, high-grade materials like Dragon Stone are valuable items for crafting Orbs or Immortal Equipment, so think twice before selling them to a shop.

 

 

 

4) Trade with Other Players

The surest way to earn a lot of Gold Coins is trading.

Item Mall goods, rare materials (Ancient Stone, Evo Gem, Dark Gem, Phoenix Feather, etc.) and boxes of Legendary grade or higher can be traded. Most of them fetch some Gold Coins from a shop, but you're better off selling them to players who pay more.

 

 

 

3. Items You Can Sell to Shops and Items Worth Trading

 

1) Fine to Sell to Shops
 

These items are easy to find, and most sell for Silver Coins.

 

● Equipment Boxes of Rare grade or lower

● Low-grade Gems
● Garnet, Malachite
● Tea Leaf, Salt
● Unused low-grade potions

 

 

2) Best Traded with Other Players
 

These items are tradable, and most can be sold to shops for Gold Coins.

 

● Equipment/boxes of Legendary grade or higher
● Ancient Stone
● Evo Gem
● Pure Gem
● Dark Gem
● Phoenix Feather
● % recovery potions

 

 

3) Best Kept for Later Use

Cannot be traded, but is used as a material for high-grade items and Collections. Sells to shops for Gold Coins.

 

● Dragon Stone (fused from Dragon Stone Fragments)
● Dragon Scale (fused from Basaltic Shells)
● Pure Adamant (fused from Adamant)
● Pure Thunder Rock (fused from Thunder Rocks)
