Term Description
Lan Chow, Chang An, Lo Yang, Kai Feng, Beijing The 5 main towns of Mohun
Setting up stalls and large gatherings usually center on Lan Chow, the first town.
Town maps have 1 channel, and players cannot fight each other in towns.
Field Boss Powerful monsters that appear in hunting grounds (fields)
You can check them in each map's monster list. Before and when they spawn, characters in the matching Level range hear a server-wide announcement.
They only appear in channel 1, and a separate icon is shown on the map when they spawn.
Quest What other games call a Quest
Real Form Once a Martial Art is trained to 12 stars, each use has a chance to evolve it into its Real Form
A Martial Art that has become a Real Form is more effective than the original.
Transfiguration Use Transfiguration Secret Books on a Martial Art that has reached its Real Form to grant it extra effects
The higher the stage, the more Transfiguration Secret Books it takes and the more MP the Martial Art costs to use, but its multiplier rises and it becomes more effective against monsters in the Black Region.
Martial Art Skills used by characters
Ancient Stone, Ancient Stone High (High Stone), Ancient Stone Highest (Top Stone) Material items used to enhance equipment. Tradable.
Spot Stealing Cutting into a spot in a hunting ground where someone else is already hunting
It is not a punishable offense under the game rules, but it is generally good manners for the latecomer to give way.
Speaker (15 Days) (Sky-Shaking) A Consumable for server-wide chat; the term also refers to the server-wide chat messages sent with it
Since everyone can see this chat, please use it politely.
Evo Gem, Evo Gem High (High Evo) A high-level material used to craft gear that grants both character appearance and bonus stats, such as Wings, Weapon Costumes and Orbs
Evo Gem High trades at very high prices.
Dark Gem (Dark), Phoenix Feather (Feather) Material items used to craft Orbs and Wings, respectively
They can be sold to shops, but since they are tradable, they are usually traded for Gold Coins.
Pure Yijin, Pure Xuan, etc… Pure Gems fused from Gems are usually called by short names
Commonly traded ones include Pure Yijin Stone ("Pure Yijin"), which affects Attack; Pure Xuan Jade ("Pure Xuan"), which affects Defense; and Pure Amethyst Stone ("Pure Purple"), which raises STR.
War PvP combat between players
In the narrow sense, it means two or more clearly hostile factions fighting each other.
Guild Tournament A PvP competition between Guilds held every 2 weeks
The higher the ranking, the bigger the rewards, and participants also receive separate rewards.
Dungeon The equivalent of a Dungeon in other games: an instanced hunting ground entered with keys obtained from hunting
Bosses that appear along the way give guaranteed rewards, and clearing it grants a reward box containing high-value items.
It is more difficult than ordinary field hunting grounds.
Secret Cave (Underground Secret Cave/Ancient Secret Cave) Refers to the highest-level Dungeons in Beijing
When people say Secret Cave, they usually mean the Underground Secret Cave, the lower tier.
A character strong enough to clear the Underground Secret Cave solo is called a "Secret Cave character", and this is often seen as the benchmark for entering high-level content.
Black Region (Black AP, Black Barrier) An area whose monsters impose huge penalties on both your attack and defense unless you have specific stats
Black Region monsters have stats called Black AP and Black Barrier, which lower the player's defense and attack stats respectively.
To offset them, you need separate stats called Black AP Resistance and Tearing.
Raid Boss Powerful monsters that appear on maps you can enter by doing a Quest within a set Level range
They usually appear once a day and must be fought in 2~3 phases.
When a World Boss is defeated, a limited number of treasure chests appear, and how many you can open depends on your contribution to the fight.
Chests may contain excellent items such as top-grade equipment.
Tomb Protector (Qin) The first World Boss you will meet
Has its own map entered from the Mausoleum Secret Room, so players often call it by the short name "Qin" rather than its real name.
The Great Minotaur The second World Boss
Has its own map entered from the Dun Huang area, and drops a stronger Set Item.
Red Dragon The third World Boss
Has its own map entered from Magma Cave. It is considered the limit of what an average build can still challenge.
Bulgasal The current final World Boss
Has its own map entered at Cursed Mountain Sung, a Black Region. As it is a Black Monster, you cannot fight it properly without enough Black AP Resistance and Tearing.
