Job Advancement

 

1. What Is Job Advancement?

 

At Level 40 and 70 you can perform the 1st and 2nd Job Advancement respectively. Each Job Advancement gives your character a stat bonus and also increases the number of EP Stone slots you can equip in the [EP Stone (R)] window (+5 slots per Job Advancement).

You must complete the 1st Job Advancement before you can train the 5 passives of [Combat Special Skill], which makes it essential.

 

 

 

 

2. 1st Job Advancement (Decent Stage/Devilic Stage)

 

After reaching Level 40, you can accept the Job Advancement Quest from "Oracle Prophet - Oracle Prophet" in Lo Yang. How the quest proceeds depends on whether you choose the Decent Stage or the Devilic Stage.

 

The Decent Stage Disciple/Devilic Stage Disciple you face in the final step of the Quest is very strong. If your equipment, Level or consumables aren't well enough prepared, you may fail, so be careful.

Advancing to the Decent Stage or the Devilic Stage grants the following stat bonuses.

 

● Both paths: STR Enhancement I, AGI Boost I, VIT Enhancement I, INT Boost I, the Soaring Body Art special skill can be learned (up to stage 10), +5 EP Stone slots (Offensive/Defensive)

● Decent Stage: Attack + 30, Elemental Attack +30%, Critical +10
● Devilic Stage: Attack + 30, Elemental Attack +30%, Critical Damage +15%

 

Choose the Decent Stage for a higher Critical chance, or the Devilic Stage for high Critical Damage. The 1st Job Advancement bonus only applies while your character is Level 40 or higher, so you do not get the bonus right after Rebirth.

The additional Combat Special Skill passives unlock once you complete the 1st Job Advancement.

 

 

3. 2nd Job Advancement (Divine Stage/Demonic Stage)

 

Once you reach Level 70 after the 1st Job Advancement, you can accept the 2nd Job Advancement Quest from "Little Girl - Xiao Ling" in Beijing.

 

In the 2nd Job Advancement, Decent Stage becomes Divine Stage and Devilic Stage becomes Demonic Stage. Job Advancement requires traveling to many places, so it takes a lot of time.

 

Completing the 2nd Job Advancement grants the following stat bonuses.

 

● Both paths: STR Enhancement I, AGI Boost I, VIT Enhancement I, INT Boost I, the Soaring Body Art special skill can be trained up to stage 30, +5 EP Stone slots (Offensive/Defensive)

● Divine Stage: Attack + 40, Elemental Attack +40%, Critical +10
└ (Total: Attack +70, Elemental Attack +70%, Critical +20)
● Demonic Stage: Attack + 40, Elemental Attack +40%, Critical Damage +15%
└ (Total: Attack +70, Elemental Attack +70%, Critical Damage +30%)

 

As with the 1st Job Advancement bonus, you do not receive the 2nd Job Advancement bonus before Level 70.
