Terms of Service
On This Page
※ This Service Policy was last revised and takes effect from 30/6/2025 (Monday).
1. Purpose of the Service Policy and Basic Service Policy
1) This service policy sets out the details of the services the Company provides and the rules that service users (hereinafter "members") must follow in relation to Mohun Kronthia (hereinafter the "Game"). Matters not covered here are governed by the "Terms of Service", "Privacy Policy", "Payment Terms" and the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2) This service policy applies to the website (www.mookhon.co.kr), gameplay, and all related services.
3) This service policy was created to handle problems that may arise during service quickly and fairly, in order to maintain order within the game and protect members' rights.
4) Members must comply with this service policy. In case of a violation, the account concerned may face consequences such as usage restrictions or forfeiture of in-game assets, according to each provision.
5) The Company may revise the service policy and will give advance notice of any revision via the official website (www.mookhon.co.kr), etc. Members should familiarize themselves with such changes, and the Company cannot offer assistance for adverse consequences arising from not knowing the service policy.
2. Roles and Responsibilities of GMs
1) GM stands for 'Game Master'. GMs handle members' questions and requests according to the service policy and established procedures, so that the game service is operated properly and members' rights are protected.
2) Every matter in the GM's service operations is handled with neutral and reasonable judgment based on verifiable evidence and policy.
3) In accordance with the relevant laws, GMs and Company staff will never ask members for sensitive information such as personal information or passwords. The Company handles collected personal information securely according to the Privacy Policy, and may provide relevant information when requested by government agencies following lawful procedures.
4) In principle, GMs and Company staff do not intervene in disputes between members, but where a dispute seriously affects game operations (disrupting the game service, breaking the law, disturbing public order, etc.), measures may be taken under this service policy.
5) GMs and Company staff do not grant personal benefits or privileges to any particular member. This includes in-game assets, undisclosed information about updates/events beyond what has been announced, and the criteria for enforcing the service policy, etc.
6) Members' questions and suggestions about the game service will be answered as fully as possible in-game, on the website and by E-mail. However, we may not respond to GM calls with no clear purpose, matters members can handle themselves, gameplay matters already sufficiently explained in-game and on the website, or repeated questions that have already been answered.
3. Members' Duties and Rights
1) Members can use the game-related services and content, and can ask about problems encountered during use through Customer Support.
2) Members must understand and comply with the Terms of Service and the service policy. The Company is not responsible for any adverse consequences of violations.
3) Members must not do anything that may harm service operations and must cooperate fully with GM requests. Failure to comply with a legitimate request may result in usage restrictions.
4) If you find a bug or system error, you must report it immediately. Abusing or spreading it may result in usage restrictions.
5) Members are responsible for protecting their account information and should make active use of security measures (secondary password, etc.). The Company is not responsible for damage caused by neglecting to manage one's own information.
4. Names and Naming Policy
1) A name means a unique name shown to others while using the game service, on the website or in the game, such as a nickname, character name or guild name.
2) Members may use any name they like, but a name that violates the naming policy will be changed, and repeated violations may result in usage restrictions.
3) The following violate the naming policy and cannot be used
- Expressions contrary to public order and good morals
- Profanity and rude language
- Anything that causes others displeasure, disgust or fear
- Slang related to private body parts or sexual activity
- Expressions intended to slander/insult nationality, religion, race, gender, disability, etc.
- Antisocial or immoral expressions
- Cases that infringe third-party rights such as reputation, portrait rights or personal information
- Cases that spread false information, rumors or fake news
- url or keywords that lure people to specific websites or services
- Expressions that impersonate or slander GMs, Company staff or the game service
- Cases containing content that violates the service policy, such as real-money trading or advertising
- Other expressions that GMs and the general public deem inappropriate
- Cases that alter spelling or mix in other characters to get around the above
4) If you find an inappropriate name, you can report the details to a GM.
5. Inactive Accounts and Characters
※ Following the amendment of the Personal Information Protection Act on 15/9/2023, the previous inactive account policy no longer applies. The personal information of members with no usage history for a long period will be retained for the period specified in the "Privacy Policy", and when the data is scheduled for destruction, you will be notified 30 days in advance by E-mail, SMS, etc. However, once the purpose of processing has been achieved or the retention period has expired, the data will be destroyed without delay in accordance with the relevant laws.
6. Posts and Chat
1) Posts and chat cover all forms of expression, such as text, images and videos in posts and comments on the official website, as well as in-game chat.
2) Restrictions on posts and chat follow the same criteria as the naming policy set out in Section 4.
3) Disputes between members arising from posts and chat should in principle be resolved by the parties themselves, but if the service policy is violated, measures may be taken following a GM review or a member's report.
7. Bugs and System Abuse
1) Bugs or system errors mean functions working in unintended ways, malfunctions, or results that deviate from the design intent, etc.
2) Members must report a bug or error as soon as they find it. Spreading or abusing it may result in usage restrictions.
3) Confirmed bugs and errors will be compensated according to internal criteria once they are fixed. In this process, assets obtained unfairly will be recovered or rolled back (Rollback).
4) The following acts violate the service policy and may result in usage restrictions
- Abusing bugs or system errors for gain
- Disrupting the service by exploiting system vulnerabilities
- Sharing discovered bugs or system errors with other members
- Creating exploits through third-party programs and distributing such programs
8. Real-World Trading (Real Money)
1) All trades must be made only within the scope the system allows, and buying/selling/exchanging accounts and in-game assets for real goods (cash) is prohibited.
2) Cases detected through ongoing monitoring and reports will be handled according to the service policy.
3) In principle, the Company is not responsible for damage caused by real-money trading, but may provide relevant information when legally required, such as at the request of judicial authorities. However, if damage results from a clear technical or administrative failure on the Company's part (e.g., neglecting a security vulnerability), the Company will carry out compensation procedures under the relevant laws.
9. Fraud
1) Fraud means any act of deceiving others to obtain unfair gains.
2) In principle, losses of characters and in-game assets caused by the member's own fault, such as a misunderstanding, cannot be restored. However, special mediation may be offered where the other party deliberately led the member into a mistake, caused serious damage within the game, or habitually attempts fraud.
3) Impersonating a GM or Company staff is a serious violation and will receive a heavier penalty.
4) If a fraudulent trade takes place through unfair means, it can be handled through trade dispute mediation.
■ Cases Eligible for Trade Dispute Mediation
- Impersonating a GM or Company staff
- Using a similar ID to mislead others
- Cases with a clearly identified offender/victim
■ Cases Not Eligible for Trade Dispute Mediation
- Damage related to real-money trading
- Normal trades within the system (including purchases made after misreading an item's name or price in the Marketplace or a personal shop)
- Reports filed more than 24 hours after the damage occurred
■ How to Request Trade Dispute Mediation
- Submit a report using the form via Customer Support's 1:1 Inquiry within 24 hours of the time the damage occurred.
■ Trade Dispute Mediation Request Form
- Subject: [Trade Dispute Mediation Request]
- Date and time of damage: (the approximate date and time the damage occurred)
- Victim's character name / Offender's character name:
- Damaged items and in-game assets: (item name, enhancement level, etc.)
- Details of the incident:
- Screenshots: (attaching screenshots that confirm the situation will help speed up processing)
■ Trade Dispute Mediation Process
- Trade dispute mediation is not a full restoration, but a mediation service between the victim and the offender.
- Even after applying for trade dispute mediation, the victim may not get back in-game assets that have been lost or used up in the game and can no longer be recovered.
- If deemed necessary, unfair gains obtained by the offender in a trade dispute may be reclaimed as assets of the same kind or of similar value.
- Trade dispute mediation takes up to 14 days.
10. Account Hijacking
1) Account theft means accessing another person's account without their consent, or using account information in a way that causes direct or indirect damage.
2) Members are responsible for managing and protecting their own account information, and must use only their own personal information to use the service. Accounts created with a third party's personal information or false information cannot claim any rights and may be penalized under the relevant laws.
3) To protect their accounts, members are advised to install antivirus software and security patches, and must avoid visiting unverified websites and downloading or running files of unknown origin.
4) If you suspect your account has been stolen or damaged, first change the password of the account you use, then report the details via 1:1 Inquiry. The Company will receive the report and investigate.
5) To prevent damage from account theft, accounts suspected of being stolen may be temporarily restricted; the restriction can be lifted by contacting Customer Support.
6) Members must not share, lend, rent or sell their accounts to others, and the Company is not responsible for any problems arising from doing so.
7) The procedure for reporting and restoring hijacked accounts is as follows.
■ Filing a Report
① Please report damage from account hijacking through Customer Support.
② Account hijacking can only be reported for accounts registered in your own name. Reports for which identity cannot be verified are automatically cancelled after 14 days.
■ Processing and Restoration
① Once an account hijacking report has been received and investigation and processing have begun, related accounts (the victim's account, accounts that traded the victim's items, accounts with a trade history with the offender's account, etc.) may be temporarily restricted to prevent further damage from the hijacking.
② If, during processing, the reported information is found to be false or the case does not meet the criteria for account hijacking, processing of that report will be cancelled. In addition, if a false report or the misuse of another person's personal information is detected, the account concerned may be penalized or may face civil/criminal liability under the relevant laws.
③ In principle, in-game assets damaged by account hijacking are recovered based on the date the hijacking occurred, as they stand at the time the report is processed. Therefore, items that no longer exist in the game at the time of processing cannot be recovered, so the assets lost and the assets actually recovered may differ.
④ If more than 14 days have passed since the date of the hijacking, the Company may be unable to verify the data clearly or may need a long time to do so, which may make restoration difficult.
■ After Processing Is Completed
① Once an account hijacking report has been processed, repeat reports on the same matter will not be accepted.
② For an account that has already been processed for account hijacking, no report will be accepted or processed even if further hijacking damage occurs within 30 days.
■ Withdrawing an Account Hijacking Report
① Members may voluntarily withdraw a report that has been received and is being processed, for reasons such as mistakenly believing the account was hijacked or being unable to use the account during processing.
② When withdrawing a report, please note the following:
- As with filing a report, withdrawing one also involves verifying that you are the owner of the account.
- Reports that have already been processed and restored cannot be withdrawn.
- Once a report is withdrawn, the case is considered closed, and, as after processing is completed, you cannot file an account hijacking report, or an account hijacking report for the same reason, within 30 days.
- If you withdraw a report, in-game assets lost through account hijacking will not be recovered.
11. Compensation and Restoration
1) Problems during service caused by the Company may be compensated separately according to internal criteria, and a separate notice will be given when compensation is made.
2) If a character's EXP or items are changed or lost due to a technical error during service, they will be restored within the scope that can be verified from in-game logs. However, some values that were not synchronized may not be restored.
3) During restoration, to allow a quick recovery, the Company may disconnect the game or temporarily restrict use without the member's prior consent.
4) The Company cannot compensate for or restore losses caused by a member's own fault, or damage arising from matters announced in advance through the Terms of Service, the service policy or notices.
5) Loss of in-game assets must be reported through Customer Support within 14 days of the incident. Reports made after 14 days are not eligible for restoration.
6) The following cases are not covered by compensation or restoration:
- Losses incurred during real-money trading
- Losses incurred on accounts shared with, lent to, rented to or sold to others
- Losses resulting from the use of unauthorized third-party programs
- Losses caused by the member's own network problems or lag
- In-game assets lost through normal game processes (failed enhancement, selling to a shop, discarding items, etc.)
- Mistaking the trade partner, or entering the wrong quantity/price, etc., during a trade or while using an in-game shop
- Data lost because the server was rolled back to previously saved DB data (Rollback)
- In-game assets created by exploiting loopholes such as bugs or system errors
- Consumables or event items
- Items that cannot be verified from the records
- Other items that cannot be restored under internal criteria
12. Usage Restriction Rules
1) Types of usage restriction (penalties)
- Warning: A stage of cautioning/advising via E-mail, in-game chat, mail, etc. that repeated violations may be penalized. At this stage, a chat ban, character relocation or forced logout may also be applied.
- Suspension (fixed-term): The service cannot be used for the set period.
- Suspension (permanent): The service can permanently no longer be used through that account.
2) Usage Restriction Criteria

- The level of restriction set by the penalty criteria may be reduced in actual enforcement for the purpose of guidance and warning.
- Even for matters not listed in the criteria table, use may be restricted if the act is judged to violate relevant laws or to harm the service or other members.
- If two or more violations are detected at the same time, the most severe penalty among them may be applied.
- For repeated violations, excessive violations, or violations detected across multiple accounts, a penalty heavier than the criteria table may be imposed. In addition, all accounts under the same name, or all accounts judged to belong to the same person based on access history, payment information, etc., may be penalized.
- Unfair gains (items, in-game money, etc.) obtained through violations will be recovered. For unfair gains that have already been used up and are gone from the game, the virtual assets used may be deducted down to a negative balance, or assets of equivalent value may be recovered.
- Even if you did not violate the rules directly, if you colluded with or took advantage alongside a violator to receive or share unfair gains, you may receive the same level of penalty as the violator.
- The Company is not responsible for any losses incurred while service use is restricted due to a member's own fault.
- If a member's violation causes damage to the Company, the Company may take separate legal action, such as claiming damages.
