Tips and Convenience Features

This page collects small features added recently that aren't yet explained in other guide pages.

Each may seem minor, but knowing them can save a lot of time and cut down on mistakes while you play.

Topics marked with a blue note are features confirmed by only one source; some game versions may not have them yet.

1. Turning Off Character EXP Gain

The Settings (shortcut key [O]) window has a [Restrict EXP Gain] option. When it is checked, your character gains no more EXP, so their Level stays where it is.

● This option only applies to characters Level 50 and above.

● If you check it before Level 50, your character still gains EXP normally until Level 50, and then the restriction kicks in automatically.

● Whenever you want to resume leveling, just uncheck it.

This feature suits players who want to keep their Level within a certain range, such as:

- A Level range where you can still enter certain Dungeons

- The period when you can still do the Quest for the World Boss Tomb Protector (available up to Level 69)

- A Level range where you can still get rewards from the Field Boss you want

※ Note: The announcement mentions only character EXP, not Skill Points or Martial Art EXP. While this option is on, you also do not gain Ranking EXP (Section 2).

2. EXP After Max Level and Ranking EXP

Previously, once a character reached max Level, the EXP bar stayed at 0%. Now EXP keeps accumulating until the bar is almost full (up to 99.99%).

This EXP is not lost, even if the max Level is raised later or the Tower of Honor Season ends.

In addition, max-Level characters also accumulate Ranking EXP every time they hunt monsters.

3. Allocate Stat Points 10 at a Time with Shift

In the Character Info (shortcut key [C]) window, holding [Shift] while raising a stat allocates 10 points at a time instead of 1.

Very handy when you have many unspent points, since each Level-up gives as many as 6 stat points.

※ Caution: Make sure you click the right stat, because points you have allocated cannot be withdrawn on your own.

4. PK Mode Shortcut Moved from [P] to [B]

The shortcut key for turning on [PK Mode] has changed from [P] to [B], and the [P] key now opens the Potion Box window instead.

The [PK Mode] button at the bottom right of the screen still works as before.

※ Caution: In channels where PK is allowed, pressing [B] by mistake turns on PK Mode, and it cannot be turned off for 1 minute. During that time you also cannot change channel or leave the game. Players used to the P key should be especially careful.

5. Shortcut Keys to Hide Chat and On-Screen Names

Shortcut Key Effect
[Ctrl] + [Shift] + [C] Show/hide the chat window
[Ctrl] + [Shift] + [N] Show/hide names, Titles and overhead info of characters, NPCs and monsters

Handy for taking screenshots, or when crowds of overlapping names hide the monsters. Press the same keys again to show them again.

Many system messages appear in the chat window, so don't forget to turn chat back on when you're done.

6. Quest Tracker: Track 10 Quests, Plus Tags Above Monsters

The Quest Tracker, which shows your progress on the right side of the screen, has been improved as follows.

● Shows up to 10 Quests at once, so you can see each Quest's name, conditions and description without opening the Quest window.

● When you accept a new Quest and the tracker still has free slots, the Quest is added to it automatically.

● The tracker itself only lets you view and remove Quests; to choose which Quests to register, use the Quest window (shortcut key [Q]).

● Monsters you need to defeat for Quests in the tracker show a Quest tag above their names until that Quest is completed or removed from the tracker.

The tag above names makes it much easier to tell your targets apart from other monsters in the hunting ground. If the tracker is already full with 10 entries, newly accepted Quests will not be added automatically; remove entries you don't need first.

7. World Map [W]: View Other Areas and Monster Spawn Points

(This feature may not yet be available in some server versions)

For basic World Map usage such as click-to-travel, see the Travel and Maps page. The newly added functions are as follows.

● You can view maps of other areas, not just the area your character is in.

● Shows monster spawn points on the selected map, so you can plan where to hunt before setting out.

● The NPC/gate list follows the selected map. Left-click an entry to have your character walk there automatically.

● When you arrive at an NPC chosen from the list, that NPC's menu window opens automatically.

● If the selected map is a Dungeon, its entry Level is shown too.

8. Item Fuse Helpers

● View the max fusable quantity: right-click an item and hover over the [Item Fuse] menu to see the maximum number of results you can fuse from the materials you have.

● Fuse several at once: in the Item Fuse window, you can choose how many to fuse, or fuse the maximum quantity in one go.

(This feature may not yet be available in some server versions)

● Missing-material notice: if you try to fuse without enough materials, the names and quantities of the missing materials are shown in the chat window.

(This feature may not yet be available in some server versions)

These helpers are very useful for recipes that need lots of materials, such as fusing high-level Skill Books.

9. Other Small Improvements

1) Remove Materials from the Intimacy Enhance Window

If you put the wrong equipment or Equipment Box into the [Intimacy Enhance] window, simply right-click it to remove it.

☞ Reference link: Equipment Intimacy

2) Save Your ID on the Login Window

The game's login window has an option to save your account (ID), so you don't have to type your ID again next time.

※ Caution: Use this only on your own personal computer, never on public PCs or at internet cafés. Keeping your account information safe is the player's own responsibility.
