  • Sign-up is open for 10 minutes, with announcements when 5, 3 and 1 minutes remain.
  • If you see You cannot go in from here right now, stop fighting, close your shop or finish trading first. If your character is dead, revive first, then press again.

👥 2. Team Up and Sign Up

  1. A team is a party. You need a party to sign up. Right-click a friend and choose Invite to party. The list appears on the left of the screen, leader included.
  2. Get your members into the arena before sign-up closes. A team that isn't full can still compete.
  3. The leader goes to the Training Master. Run to the centre, or press Centre on the bottom bar. You must be close to sign up.
  4. Read the sign-up window. It shows your party size, the potions you can use and the rule for advancing.
  5. Name your team. The name can't match another team's, and with no name the team goes by the leader's. Then press Sign up.

Important!

  • Once signed up, you can't leave the party, remove or invite members, or change the leader until your team is out or the event ends.
  • If you break up the party before sign-up closes, you must form a new party and sign up again.
  • If you break up the party after sign-up closes, you give up.
  • Anyone who dies is out until the event ends. A team's next match fields only its survivors.
  • Before sign-up closes, the leader can open the sign-up window and press Cancel sign-up twice. The party stays together. To change the team name, cancel and sign up again.
  • A party over the limit can't sign up. Remove members down to the limit first.
  • Once the teams are full, you wait for the next event. If there aren't enough teams when sign-up closes, that event is cancelled.

🏟️ 3. Wait on the Stands

When sign-up closes, your character stands on your team's stand, while you can go on watching the other matches, unseen by the fighters. A banner mid-screen counts down to the first match, which starts 1 minute after sign-up closes.

  • Press Tab or the Bracket (Tab) button to open the bracket, and press again to close it.
  • Single elimination, one match at a time. Everyone can watch the current match.
  • In the bracket, teams that advance are gold and eliminated teams are grey with a line through them. Hover over a team to see its members.
  • If the number of teams doesn't divide evenly, some teams advance without a match, and the bracket shows bye.

Before the Start

When your turn comes, both teams are teleported to their starting points in a flash, on opposite sides, with a curtain in front of each team and a countdown mid-screen. You can walk behind the curtain. Call your pets and use your buffs now. You can't attack yet, or cross the curtain.

When the Countdown Ends

The curtain drops and you can attack other teams at once. No need to turn on PK, even against your own guild. Teammates can't hit each other.

  • The rings on the ground show the teams, red and blue. Enemies have an HP bar under their names.
  • Each enemy you kill scores one point.
  • One death and you are out at once. There is no respawn, and no resurrection in the arena.
  • After dying you lie down for 5 seconds, then warp back to your team's stand, at once if the match has just ended, with a white ring above your head.
  • On the stand there is a Watch from the floor button. Press it to watch your teammates fight on from the centre.
  • The winning team advances, and its next match fields only its survivors.
  • Score, time and both teams' members are in the panel on the right under the minimap. You can fold it, drag it and change its opacity.
Not allowed in the arena: stealth, riding a mount, using a Titan, trading and opening a shop.

💥 5. Floor Collapse

The floor collapses from the outer rings inward. Before each collapse there is an announcement, a warning sound, a countdown and flashing floor, and the warning lasts between 5 and 15 seconds, depending on the ring. Anyone standing there when it falls dies at once and is eliminated, so run for the inner rings. The longer it goes, the smaller the floor gets, until everyone has to meet in the middle.

🧪 6. Potion Limits

There are three potion types: HP, inner power and shield. They are counted separately, per fighter and per match, and reset every match. On screen they read HP potions, Inner power potions and Shield potions.

  • Each potion type can be used as many times as the other side has fighters in that match. In a 7 v 1, the lone fighter gets 7 uses of each type, and each of the 7 gets 1 use of each type.
  • The number is set at the start of the match and doesn't drop when the other side loses fighters.
  • Counting starts when the countdown ends. Potions used during the countdown don't count.
  • The bottom bar shows how many times you've used each potion. A type that is used up turns red.
  • Auto-potions count too.
  • An all-restoring potion counts against all three types, and can't be used if any of them is used up.

🏆 7. Results and Rewards

The team left standing wins the match. The winner's banner appears mid-screen and the team advances, fielding only its survivors in the next match. During the break the bracket opens by itself. Matches go on until one champion team remains.

Reward

  • Rewards go to your warehouse automatically, for 1st to 3rd place and everyone who took part.
  • Each team member gets their own set. Find it in the Item Mall Warehouse.
  • Third place goes to the teams that lose in the semifinals, normally two teams.
  • You must have fought in at least one match to receive a reward.

End of the Event

The champion team's members come down and stand in a ring at the centre, including those eliminated earlier. Their names turn gold, with a champion banner at the top of the screen and fireworks for all to see. Results show for 1 minute, then everyone is sent back to the map they came from.

👀 Not Competing? You Can Still Watch

Once sign-up closes, everyone else in the arena becomes a spectator: translucent, unseen by the fighters, and unable to see other spectators.

  • You can move to watch from the centre or the islands around the arena, and leave the arena yourself.
  • Spectators automatically use a high-level Qinggong. They don't need to have learned it, and it costs them no inner power.
  • When a match is up next, a VS banner shows the two teams and how many each has fielded.
  • At the end of the event, spectators' cameras circle the champion team by themselves.
  • Spectators can't attack, use skills or use items, and nobody can attack them.
  • Party, guild and whisper chat work. Map chat and shouting don't.
  • Up to 100 spectators who haven't signed up can enter.

❓ FAQ

What if I disconnect during a match?

If you haven't died, log back in, press Back to the fight and answer Yes. You can rejoin your team's match until time runs out. If a team has no fighter in the arena for 1 minute, the other team wins the match. If neither team has one, both lose.

Not all my members came. Can we still compete?

You compete with whoever is there. A team only loses its place if none of its members are in the arena when sign-up closes.

I've signed up and want to change team members

Before sign-up closes, the leader presses Cancel sign-up twice in the sign-up window, rearranges the party and signs up again. After sign-up closes members can't be changed, and breaking up a team still in the event counts as giving up.

Can I sign up alone, without a party?

No. You need a party to sign up. Without one, the sign-up window says No party: make one to sign up.

Can I walk off the edge of the arena?

No. The edge is blocked, you can't walk outside the remaining rings, and nobody can push you off. What you need to watch for is flashing floor.

Can a teammate resurrect me?

No. Resurrection Scrolls can't be used in this arena. Anyone who dies is out until the event ends.

Do deaths in the arena count toward Guild Wars?

No, and that includes deaths from the collapsing floor.

Where do I find my reward?

In your Item Mall Warehouse. The game shows Your reward is in your Item Mall storage.
